YEC is a warm-hearted, independent, growing family church which truly seeks to serve, love and glorify Jesus Christ in everything. We passionately believe in the relevance and authority of the Bible. This is reflected in the teaching, outreach and ministries of the church, seeking to take the gospel into York and practical concern through BESOM. There is a student programme of interactive teaching including a lunch about once a month this is called YEC-GROUNDED. YEC encourages mixing amongst all age groups, and is very supportive of the Christian Unions.
